Our Green Office initiative started in 2017 at our head office in Stockholm in order to improve our sustainability performance in easy but impactful ways. After calculating the carbon impact of our internal operations and mapping out the daily routines and systems in the office, we have taken some easy-to-implement measures that reduce our environmental impact and encourage employees to make sustainable choices.
These measures include, for instance, adding more charging stations for electric cars, and improving waste management at the office. We have also made a number of changes to our office restaurant, such as reducing meat and fish while increasing vegetables in our portions, removing all plastic and shifting to local producers for raw materials. Additionally, we have expanded our rooftop greenhouse, enabling us to grow everything from herbs and berries, to cabbage, peas and spices.
